Ideas and potential adaptations for filming

Idea 1. We wanted to use a police car in our music production to help the audience to understand the involvement of the police, law enforcement and our character. However, we have realised that it may be quite unrealistic and difficult to gain access to a police car. One of our friends however has a member of their family who is involved within the police force, therefore it is within our reach to gain access to the police car. If we cannot gain access we have agreed on a potential adaption. Instead of the police car we have decided to develop the police idea into using a flashing blue and red light which would be reflected on the character's face. This still represents the idea of the police and law enforcement to the audience. This is also more realistic for our group

Idea 2. Our group had an idea to use an african american baby, toddler and child to represent the growth of Laura  ( our main character) from a baby to an adult. However, it is quite difficult for us to come across a small baby and child to use for the day. We would need permission from the child's parent which would be quite difficult. Therefore, if this intial idea is unsuccessful, we had another idea to use Laura's own baby and childhood photos from her youth. With the photos we would do artistic layering, as this would still show the progress of growth for Laura. This may appear to be more believable for the audience also, and would encourage them to have more of an emotional connection to her.

Idea 3. Another idea to display Laura's childhood would be through the use of television. We liked the idea of Laura watching her own memories back through the televison, this may be difficult however. The photo idea may be more appropriate for this part of the particular scene.
