Initial ideas for location

Here are some ideas for our music video's location;

Archway by Windsor Leisure centre - we are hoping to film the ending here, as it fits in with the conventions of a hip-hop video i.e graffiti and the dark walk way. Furthermore we want to shoot this scene at night so therefore we have continuity (so no interferance with people in the background).

We are hoping to film the introduction scene at a friends house, the duration of the first scene will be 23 seconds, for the first scene we want to use a child so therefore we have to take into account health and safety issues - the mother should be near at all times but not in the shot, Dangerous objects i.e filiming equipment.

Local high streets within the area- so its easy for us to access it with Chloe's car - The streets is a typical location in the eyes of the genre hip-hop/rap it ables the viewer to feel connected with the characters roots, also for us this is a good opportunity to involve as many different shots as possible. The character ( Laura Richardson) when walking the streets is going to  rap some of the lyrics ( lip sync) to the camera this will show direct address and a emotional attachment between her and audience.

Along the relief road ( at night) we want to film the street lamps  passing by ( panning shot) and also filming laura in the car.

In a field filming the sun both sun-rise and sun-set but not a time-lapse! this relates to lyrics and visuals because the song is called 'sunshine'.

Windsor play park with a basketball court - Basketball is ideally seen in hip-hop music videos we wanted to include this element . Also We imagined Laura on the swing , swinging out of the frame and the character changes into younger Laura and then out of the frame again back to Laura this symbolises Lauras thoughts of how she was happy as a child before certain events.
